Barbie has had many family members introduced over the years, to reflect the changing times and themes of the generation. Here is a small compiled list to show you a few of the names for friends and family.


Siblings

Barbie's siblings include her famous kid sister, Skipper (1964), the less-known Tutti (1966-71) and Stacie (1992), the fun-loving brother Todd (1966-68, 1991-94), and the two younger sisters Kelly (1995) and baby sister Krissy (1999).

Cousins

Barbie had three cousins over the years: Francie (1966-76), P.J. (1969-85) and Jazzie (1989). Francie brought along a friend Casey (1967-70). Jazzie introduced three friends Dude, Chelsie and Stacie (1989).



Barbie and Ken's Friends

Barbie, being the popular girl she is, had many friends throughout the years. These friends had friends and family as well.

It all started with Ken (1961) as Barbie's boyfriend. Ken had a little brother Tommy (1997) but before that he had Allan/Alan (1964 & 1991). Alan was the boyfriend of Midge (1963-65, 1989-current) who later married.

Brad (1970) came along later to become not only Ken's friend but Christie's (1968-current) boyfriend. Stacey (1968-1970) didn.t have a boyfriend but was just Barbie and Ken's friend. Curtis (1975) was Cara's (1975-78) boyfriend. Todd (1983) later became Tracy's (1983) fiancé.

Christie changed boyfriends and then dated Ken's friend Steven (1988). Some friends were with Barbie only a short time while others like Teresa (1988-current) continue to be a great friend.

Kelly's Friends

It wasn't only Barbie and Ken who had plenty of friends. Kelly had several of them herself:
